The short version: the game has no advertising or cross-app tracking. Optional gameplay analytics are off unless you choose to share them. Career progress remains on your device.

Purchases
The full game can be unlocked with a one-off in-app purchase. Apple processes the purchase. The game receives the product and entitlement status needed to unlock or restore it; Thumb Brief does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Optional gameplay analytics
The game asks whether you want to share optional gameplay analytics. Nothing is shared unless you choose Share Analytics. Your choice does not affect the game or its price, and you can switch sharing off at any time in Options. Switching it off clears events waiting on your device and prevents new events from being sent.
When enabled, the game may share:
- a random identifier created for that installation;
- app version, build, platform and major operating-system version;
- sessions, levels started and completed, attempts, active play time, failure category and upgrades bought with earned game cash;
- views and dismissals of the full-game offer, displayed price, purchase-result category and restore-result category;
- serious save or entitlement-check failures.
It does not share your name, email address, contacts, precise location, Game Center identity, advertising identifier, payment details, free text, finger movements or aircraft paths. The information is used only to understand game balance, reliability, the free-to-paid progression and whether the one-off unlock works.
Storage and retention
Analytics are sent to a private service operated for Thumb Brief using Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes ordinary network information, including an IP address, to deliver and protect the service. The game analytics database does not store source IP addresses. Raw analytics events are automatically deleted after 90 days. Aggregated reports that no longer contain installation-level records may be kept for longer.
Career progress, settings and local statistics are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes local career progress. Restoring a purchase restores the full-game entitlement, not a deleted career.
Game Center and the App Store
If you use Game Center, the game submits scores and achievements to Apple under your Game Center settings. Apple also handles downloads and purchases under its own privacy policy. Thumb Brief does not receive your payment details or Game Center identity through the analytics service.
Your choices and rights
While analytics sharing is enabled, Options displays an Analytics ID that you can copy. Email hytham@thumbbrief.com with that ID if you want the matching records deleted before automatic expiry. You can also ask about your UK data-protection rights or raise a privacy concern. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13. Optional analytics do not include a name, account or contact details. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Thumb Brief, contact us so it can be removed.
Changes
If the game changes how it handles data, this page and the App Store privacy information will be updated before the change is released.
